"Francisco Casanovas Tallardá" Music and Cultural Association

The Casanovas Orchestra continues in the tradition established by the Casanovas Orchestra, founded by Maestro Francisco Casanovas in the second half of the 1920s, with which he undertook numerous international tours. It also carries on the legacy of the ‘Francisco Casanovas’ Chamber Orchestra, founded in Torrevieja in 1996 and active until 2006.

Its members are distinguished soloists and professional musicians from leading orchestras, brought together in an ensemble of the highest artistic calibre. The repertoire encompasses varied and engaging programmes suitable for all audiences.

The Casanovas Orchestra has the prestigious Maestro Enrique García Asensio as its honorary conductor and the cultural promoter and current Ambassador of Genoa to the World, Enrico De Barbieri, as the orchestra’s international representative. Its founding conductor is José Francisco Sánchez.
