About the event
The Orihuela Costa Carnival 2026 returns once again to fill the streets with rhythm, creativity and pure fun. A huge party organised by the Orihuela Costa Festival Association, in collaboration with the Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre, which is joining in with this much-loved celebration, reinforcing its commitment to the community and local traditions.
The parade will start at the Orihuela Costa Town Halland will wind its way through the streets until it reaches Zenia Boulevard square, where the festivities will continue with the comparsas competition and the awards ceremony. A grand finale to an afternoon that promises to be unforgettable.

The troupes will compete in three categories full of carnival spirit:
Joy Award
Award for the Most Colourful Troupe
Fantasy Award
Spectacular floats, incredible choreography, non-stop music and tons of imagination will turn this day into a real party open to residents and visitors alike. For Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre, being part of Carnival is much more than just collaborating: it is about creating a meeting point, celebrating diversity and showcasing local art, culture and talent.
