⏰ FRIDAY 30 JANUARY

TORREVIEJA MUNICIPAL THEATRE | 9:00 p.m. | €5 Buy Tickets

2026 GOLD SHIELD AWARD CEREMONY AND PROCLAMATION

The Carnival celebrations will kick off with a film-themed gala, where the opening speech will be given by journalist and comedian Susi Caramelo, followed by the presentation of the 2026 Golden Shield and finally the screening of the documentary film "Carnival of Torrevieja 2025"..

CORONATION GALA OF THE KINGS OF CARNIVAL 2026

Farewell gala for the 2025 Kings, followed by the incredible presentation of the costumes for the King and Queens of Carnival 2026. This year, the role falls to:

·         Children's Queen: Mia Sánchez

·         King of Carnival: Iván Quesada

·         Adult queen: Laura Alberca

Animal Carnival 2026

Following the success of previous editions, we will enjoy a costume parade and competition for our pets.

With the collaboration of the Municipal Animal Shelter, as well as the participation of various animal welfare and protection organisations, we will give visibility and a voice to all those animals in need of a home.

“THE CARNIVAL GATHERING”

Call for dance troupes and costumes in Plaza de la Constitución at 8:30 p.m..

March with brass bands through the streets and competition for the best improvised costume.

18th DRAG QUEEN GALA "CITY OF TORREVIEJA"

From 7 p.m., the Torrevieja International Auditorium will be filled with light, glamour and lots of artistry, with drag queens and the craziest shows.

Music, make-up and, above all, lots of wild fun on the craziest night of Torrevieja Carnival.

Come and enjoy the pre-gala party and marvel at the best drag queens in Spain.

GRAND PARADE CARNIVAL CONTEST 2026

Torrevieja is filled with light and colour with its magnificent Carnival Parade Competition.

Thousands of participants display their creations in a musical and festive atmosphere unique to the Mediterranean.

Music, colour and lots of fun in the streets of Torrevieja.

Experience the big day of Torrevieja Carnival and be dazzled by its troupes and participants.

Activities and parades at different schools.

Bringing the excitement and magic of Carnival to our city's schools.

MUNICIPAL LEISURE CENTRE | 6:00 p.m.

SENIOR CITIZENS' CARNIVAL

As every year, the Municipal Leisure Centre brings the magic of this season to our senior citizens with its Carnival Party, where participants will show off their best costumes and there will be music and entertainment throughout the afternoon.

⏰ FRIDAY 13TH FEBRUARY

From the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Centre to Constitution Square | From 5 p.m.

“THE CARNIVAL OF THE SCHOOLS”

On this occasion, the streets of Torrevieja are taken over by schools, flooding them with their costumes and filling the city with light, music and lots of colour.

With a party at the end of the parade, featuring hot chocolate and entertainment for children and adults alike.

III FOREIGN TROUPES PARADE COMPETITION — CARNIVAL 2026

The grand parade of foreign troupes from all over Spain will fill the streets with magic and participate in their own competition.

After the parade, there will be a big party followed by the awards ceremony in Plaza de la Constitución.

GRAND NIGHT PARADE CARNIVAL 2026

Once again, the troupes will show off their costumes, filling the centre with music, rhythm and lots of magic.

Once the parade is over, we will celebrate the end of Carnival with a big party followed by the awards ceremony in Plaza de la Constitución.

“CARNIVAL THEATRE 2026”

Following its huge success last year, the "Teatrico" returns courtesy of the lovers of Torrevieja Carnival, who will once again offer us a performance that will have everyone in stitches.

NATIONAL COMPETITION OF COMPARSAS AND CHIRIGOTAS "CIUDAD DE TORREVIEJA"

The Torrevieja International Auditorium hosts the traditional Chirigotas Competition, where the best comparsas and chirigotas, coming from all over Spain, will give their best voices and incredible performances.
