Christmas Lights Switch-On in La Zenia

This year, the magic of Christmas is being experienced in a big way.

“El Circo de Navidad” (The Christmas Circus) is a unique show that combines the charm of this festive season with the fantasy, humour and spectacle of the circus. A visual, family-friendly and participatory production where music, excitement and wonder come together in a magical story that culminates in the eagerly awaited lighting of the Christmas lights.

Designed for the whole family to enjoy, the show has a cheerful, theatrical tone and is full of energy. Through acrobatic acts, brilliant choreography and moments of humour, the audience will enjoy a Christmas experience that awakens tenderness, laughter and fantasyin children... and adults alike.

✨ The story beginswhen stilt walkers and dancers fill the square with bubbles, music and smiles. Everything seems ready for the celebration... until Lunita, our dreamy protagonist, discovers that the Christmas tree is empty. Together with Rico, her funny companion, and the rest of the circus performers, they embark on a very special mission: to prepare the most magical Christmas gifts.

Every gift that appears on stage hides a surprise:

💃 a vibrant dance,🎩 a magic trick,🎪 a juggling or balancing act,

Each symbolising the great values of this time of year — hope, generosity, effort and joy.

But when they think they have achieved everything, they discover that something essential is missing: the star for the tree.It will be the public themselves, together with Lunita, Rico, Father Christmas, Zimbo and Peludo  (the centre's beloved mascots), who will finally turn on the lights, officially kicking off Christmas at Zenia Boulevard.

🎉 The show culminates with a grand parade through the entire shopping centre, where artists and dancers fill every corner with music, colour and joy to give Christmas a definitive welcome..

And like any great celebration, it deserves a sweet ending…
