The brotherhood of Saint John the Evangelist of Torrevieja celebrates its 75th anniversary with this exhibition, which takes a journey full of history, devotion and emotion that invites you to discover how this brotherhood has marked the lives of entire generations.
The exhibition offers a unique perspective on the evolution of the brotherhood since its founding in 1951, highlighting its role in the religious and cultural life of Torrevieja. Visitors can view historical photographs, original documents, liturgical vestments, and objects that have accompanied generations of members, reflecting the identity and devotion of the community and allowing them to feel the passion and commitment of those who have kept this tradition alive.
Saint John the Evangelist, also known as John the Apostle, was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus and is traditionally considered the author of the Gospel of John, as well as the Epistles and the Book of Revelation. He is a symbol of friendship, loyalty, and wisdom.
