Party, celebration, culture and community come together during carnival season in Madrid in 1568, 1668 or 2024. During carnival, anything is possible, rules change and the world is governed by paradoxes.
The baroque revelry, the fiesta, opens the door to music, madness, magic and acrobatics amid mojigangas, dances and rejoicing. And, like all subversion, the aim is to highlight the madness of the past and present, stirring consciences and celebrating our gathering.
