This adaptation of the famous British comedy, which arrived in Torrevieja from Melilla, is a dynamic interpretation of the classic, combining constant misunderstandings, incisive dialogues and a biting critique of bourgeois hypocrisy.
The play immerses the audience in a veritable spiral of lies, where no one is who they claim to be and everyone fights to maintain appearances at any cost.
Pablo and Carlos , children's book editors , try to keep their personal lives as orderly as their publications … but everything gets complicated when Carlos plans a secret rendezvous with his lover Eva at his partner's apartment.
What none of them imagine is that their wives, Rosa and Linda, also have their own secrets .
Between a meddlesome and eccentric decorator (Oscar Jefferson) , an unexpected lover ( Cristian), a curious story editor (Miss Delgado) and an all-seeing maid (Silvia), the situation transforms into a whirlwind of lies, misunderstandings and doors that keep opening and closing .
In the midst of the chaos , nobody knows who is deceiving whom, but everyone is trying to save face.
A brilliant comedy , full of entanglements, rhythm and laughter , where being unfaithful... can be more complicated than it seems .
