As the first of two concerts outside the subscription series for the 2026–27 season, the Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra opens the doors to the great European operatic tradition with an extraordinary production devoted exclusively to the finest works of musical theatre. Under the baton of guest conductor Adolfo Arronis, this opera gala offers an unmissable journey through the overtures and arias that cemented the reputations of the greatest composers in the history of the genre.
The orchestra will accompany the exceptional voice of the soprano Carmen Muñoz on a thrilling journey through the drama, passion and comedy of undisputed masters such as Verdi, Puccini, Rossini and Bizet. From the solemnity and virtuosity of the orchestral overtures to the heart-rending beauty of the repertoire’s most celebrated arias, the concert promises an evening of intense emotional power, perfect both for opera lovers and for those wishing to discover the magic of opera for the first time.
