The Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra’s First Chamber Music Series opens with one of the absolute highlights of the history of world music: Johann Sebastian Bach’s monumental Goldberg Variations.
On this occasion, the brilliant Baroque architecture originally conceived for the harpsichord takes on a new dimension of warmth, balance and polyphonic dialogue through the famous transcription for string trio.
The Chamber Hall stage will host a trio of world-class soloists comprising Nikolay Grabovskyi (violin), Paloma Valero Campello (viola) and Alberto Gómez Martínez (cello).
Through a mesmerising journey that takes the audience from the serene beauty of its opening aria to its complex and virtuosic variations, the audience will be able to experience the intimacy and transcendence of a timeless masterpiece in a format offering unrivalled intimacy and expressive intensity.
