This true masterpiece of maritime heritage, an ambassador for Torrevieja on the world's seas, built in the salt-producing city in 1917, has returned to its place of origin. After meticulous restoration and renovation that returned it to its former splendor, it is now used as a training ship and tourism ambassador, participating in international maritime festivals throughout Europe.
This new program aims to highlight the history of sailing ships (paillebottes), key vessels in the economic development of eastern Spain during the 19th and 20th centuries. The Pascual Flores is more than just a ship; it is a floating museum that tells the story of the golden age of the salt trade and coastal navigation in the Mediterranean, and a symbol of the classic sailing ships of this sea.
