Exhibition of Scenes from the Passion of Christ.
The Museum has 7 exhibition rooms in which the hundred or so nativity scenes are arranged, classified into dioramas (small scenes seen through a window); domes (designed exclusively for this cultural centre); and large-scale nativity scenes that occupy the entire room, such as the one by the Arcos de la Frontera (Cadiz) nativity artist Antonio Bernal, the one by José Luis Mayo from Madrid or a 25-metre-long popular nativity scene representing the eight Andalusian provinces, by Vicente Rodríguez, from Puerto de Santa María (Cadiz).
In the central hall, the Sicilian crib by the master crib-maker Angela Tripi, with various scenes from Italian popular culture, and the Neapolitan crib by the accredited crib-maker Claudio Mattei and the Monte San Pietro School, with a spectacular Three Kings' Cavalcade, stand out.
