Benidorm. Terra Natura Benidorm has installed a 1,000-kilowatt (1,000 kW) photovoltaic system to power part of its daily operations. The project, which is already operational, cost over €700,000 and is partly financed by the Valencian Government's Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
The solar power plant utilizes 1,797 solar panels spread across 4,700 square meters: 3,500 square meters in the parking lot and 1,200 square meters on the rooftops. It is estimated to reduce pollutant emissions by over 500 tons of CO₂ per year. Grupotec, a clean energy company that received its municipal license this summer, was responsible for the installation. alicanteplaza.es
