9 Arrested in Orihuela Costa Within 24 Hours: Drugs, Violence and Theft

Orihuela Costa (Alicante, Spain) — On February 11–12, 2026, Local Police carried out six separate operations across Villamartín, La Zenia and La Florida, resulting in nine arrests linked to domestic violence, drug-related offenses, breach of restraining order and theft. Officers seized 134.67 grams of suspected substance and clarified a €586 supermarket theft.


Six operations in one day

Interventions followed emergency 112 calls as well as routine preventive patrols in residential and commercial areas.


Domestic Violence Case — VillamartínA man was arrested on suspicion of assault within a family context.


Drug Seizure — La ZeniaPolice found a package containing 134.67 grams of pink powder, transferred to Guardia Civil for laboratory analysis.


Breach of Restraining Order — La FloridaA suspect was detained for violating a 200-meter restraining order.


Supermarket Theft — €586Five individuals were arrested after officers confirmed the theft of goods and cash worth approximately €586.


Burglary Two suspects were detained inside a property with forced-entry tools.

All detainees were handed over to judicial authorities.
