A competitive selection process for local police officers has begun in Almoradi: 400 applicants have already submitted applications.

The municipality of Almoradi (Vega Baja region, Alicante province) announced that a competitive selection process for 11 vacant positions in the local police force will begin on November 21, 2025. Approximately 400 people applied. Of the total number of positions, seven are open recruitment and four are for transfers from other municipalities. City officials noted that the goal of the competition is to strengthen security in the municipality and modernize police work.
