A unique experience in La Mata

🐢 Today, 16 sea turtles born in Torrevieja have returned to the Mediterranean after a year of care at the Oceanogràfic.

Last summer, the turtle "Pura Vida" laid her eggs on Los Locos beach and, thanks to the dedication of volunteers, scientists and local residents, her little hatchlings are now regaining their freedom.

✨ Seeing them swim together towards the sea is a magical moment and reminds us of the importance of protecting our oceans and the life they harbour.
