Brosh, a developer operating in Spain since 2011, has announced a major expansion. The company plans to increase construction volumes to 10,000 homes by 2026, actively acquiring new land. For small landlords in the regions of Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa, and throughout Vega Baja, this means potential shifts in supply and demand.

Company Growth and Plans for 2026

Brosh currently operates in three key markets: Madrid, Barcelona, and Malaga. They are already building approximately 2,500 homes there, and they plan to increase their project portfolio to 6,000 units by the end of 2025.

In 2025, the company expects revenues of €100 million, almost double the 2024 figures (€52 million).

According to CEO Carlos Martín, the success was achieved through well-planned documentation and strategic land sales. The company's total revenue since its inception has reached €300 million, and by 2025–2026, total turnover could reach €500 million.

Where Brosh is building and where they're heading next

• 60% of projects are in Madrid

• 25% are in Malaga

• 15% are in Catalonia

In Catalonia, the company is developing a 400-home project in the El Prat Vermel district of Barcelona. In Malaga, Brosh is implementing a comprehensive development project in Estepona—two projects totaling 169 homes, with an investment of €125 million.

The company is considering expansion into the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Alicante, and Cadiz. While there are no deals in these new regions yet, preparations are underway.

While Brosh is not yet building in Vega Baja, their interest in the province of Alicante could lead to increased construction in the coming years. This could impact the market and the position of small landlords:

• Increased competition for long-term rentals if large residential complexes are built.

• Potential emergence of new homebuyers, including investors, who will be able to rent properties at market rates.

• Potential interest in the rental segment: the 2027–2030 strategy includes launching rental housing.

At the same time, Brosh states that the main challenge remains the acquisition of new land plots, and the company is focusing on stable, gradual growth, avoiding risky projects.

For reference: Brosh was founded in 2011 by the Fan Hu family, a Spanish family of Asian descent. More than a decade of experience in the Spanish real estate sector has enabled the group to achieve leading positions in three business areas: development, cooperative management, and land development.
