From 29 November to 8 December, Torrevieja will host the FEDDI Futsal World Championship.

The FEDDI* Futsal World Cup will be held from 29 November to 8 December at the Torrevieja Sports Centre, "Tavi y Carmona" (Av. Monge y Bielsa, 6, 03183 Torrevieja). More than 90 athletes and coaches from six countries will participate.

This is an important international sporting and social event, as the FEDDI Futsal World Cup is being held in Spain for the first time. It also marks the return of the federation's World Cup to the country after a 17-year absence since 2008.

Six countries will compete for the World Cup in Torrevieja: Poland, Portugal, France, Japan, Spain and a neutral team.

The competition will feature 92 participants, including 66 athletes and 26 coaches, who will compete at the Tavi y Carmona Sports Centre, where the matches will be held on 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 December.

Opening and Closing Ceremonies

The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the Torrevieja Casino, an iconic venue in the municipality.

Following the official opening ceremony, the participating teams will parade through the streets of the city, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy the festive and sporting atmosphere of this international event.
