III Mundialito de Fútbol “Ciudad de Torrevieja” will be held on December 6–7

The III Mundialito de Fútbol "Ciudad de Torrevieja" will be held on December 6-7 at the Torrevieja City Sports Zone (Ciudad Deportiva). The tournament is organized by the Council for Convivencia and Integration (Concejalía de Convivencia e Integración) in cooperation with the PANGEA Office and the Council for Sports; the group draw took place on November 29 in the press room of the Tavi y Carmona Sports Palace.

Twelve teams are participating in the tournament, representing Spain, Ecuador, Senegal, Poland, Romania, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Ukraine, Morocco, Brazil, and Colombia—the format aims to promote integration through sport.

Schedule: Qualifying matches will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM; On Sunday, December 7, the finals will take place from 9:30 AM to approximately 1:30 PM, followed by an awards ceremony. The event, held under the motto "Integration through Sport," is aimed at local expat and migrant communities.

Organizers emphasize that admission is open to the public; a detailed schedule and results will be published on the tournament's official website and local media outlets. The participation of teams from various countries makes the tournament one of the major local intercultural sports initiatives in Vega Baja in early December.
