A municipal nativity scene, or belén, has opened in Torrevieja's Plaza de la Constitución as part of the festivities surrounding the Purísima Concepción (Fiestas of the Immaculate Conception).

According to organizers and local reports, the nativity scene features approximately 500 figures placed in the square and surrounding structures. The installation includes decorative water features and themed exhibits dedicated to the city's local history.

The event is being held under the auspices of the Torrevieja Municipality's Concejalía de Fiestas (Fiestas Concejalía) as part of the festive events program. The opening was included in the Purísima Concepción 2025 calendar of celebrations.
