Low Festival moves to Torrevieja after 15 years in Benidorm

ree

The organizers of Low Festival, the largest summer music festival in the province of Alicante (produced by Producciones Baltimore), have announced a change of venue: starting in 2026, the festival will be held in Torrevieja, rather than Benidorm, where the last 14-15 editions took place.

The reason for the change of location is disagreement with the new Benidorm City Council and the management of the old venue over the terms of the cooperation agreement: the organizers deemed the new venue owner's demands economically "unfeasible."

The city of Torrevieja has offered favorable conditions and a venue—the Parque Antonio Soria—for the three-day festival, scheduled for July 31–August 2, 2026.

The organization has already announced the first names of performers: the bands Editors, Fangoria, singer Dani Fernández, and others.

Torrevieja's local authorities noted that the festival's arrival creates a significant tourism and economic boost: organizers estimate that Low Festival generated over €150 million in economic impact during its stay in Benidorm.

The festival aims to maintain its tradition and celebrate its new beginning "with the same passion, energy, and professionalism," Baltimore promises.
