Missing elderly person found safe in Guardamar del Segura

The Local Police of Guardamar del Segura successfully located an elderly foreign resident who had been reported missing earlier in the evening.

The alert was initially received from the Local Police of Rojales, who reported that an elderly man with dementia had disappeared around 7:00 pm while driving his car.

The search lasted several hours. At 11:30 pm, a local resident alerted the police about a vehicle stopped without lights on the N-332 road.

Officers arriving at the scene found the missing person inside the vehicle, disoriented.

After receiving assistance, the man was safely reunited with his family.
