A new robbery has been reported at an optician’s shop in Torrevieja. According to local media, in the early hours of 1 February two masked men broke into Óptica Óptima, located in the Torremarina commercial area, and stole between 250 and 300 pairs of branded glasses.
The suspects reportedly arrived at around 3:00 a.m. They forced the metal security grille and smashed the shop window. Despite the alarm being triggered, they acted quickly and managed to remove a significant quantity of merchandise.
The stolen items included both sunglasses and high-end frames. The estimated value of the stolen goods amounts to tens of thousands of euros.
