In the municipalities of Torrevieja and Almoradi, Spanish National Police officers have completed a large-scale investigation and arrested an organized group involved in local cocaine distribution. This was announced in an official press release.

The operation was launched after receiving numerous reports that several individuals were systematically supplying drugs to redistribuidores (intermediaries) who then sold them on the streets of Torrevieja and Almoradi. The investigation revealed that the group operated through a network of houses and vehicles where the cocaine was stored and distributed.

Following a series of searches and police operations, five individuals were arrested: three men and two women, aged between 35 and 50. All are considered participants in a drug distribution network operating in the region.

According to police, those arrested not only distributed cocaine to final distributors but also acted as liaisons for other distributors in the Vega Baja del Segura area. The operation aims to disrupt the supply chain and reduce the availability of dangerous substances on the streets of Alicante municipalities.

Investigations are ongoing, and police are clarifying possible additional charges, including those related to money laundering and other related criminal activities. Officials are also not ruling out further arrests as the case progresses.
