Registration Opens for the Contest and Grand Parade of Torrevieja Carnival 2026

The City Council of Torrevieja, together with the Torrevieja Carnival Cultural Association, has officially opened the registration period for participation in the main competitive events of Torrevieja Carnival 2026. The official rules and documentation are available through the City Council’s electronic platform and the organisers’ channels.

Torrevieja Carnival is considered one of the region’s most important annual cultural celebrations, attracting thousands of participants and spectators, with the Grand Parade (Gran Desfile) as its central event.

How to register

Participation in the Torrevieja Carnival Grand Parade 2026 requires submission through the official electronic procedure available on the municipal platform under:

Applicants must:

• complete the official application form;

• attach the required documentation specified in the regulations;

• sign the application using a digital certificate or submit it in person at the municipal registry;

• verify that all information is correctly completed before submission.

Only applications submitted through the official channels will be accepted.

Carnival 2026 programme

Torrevieja Carnival 2026 will take place from late January to late February and will include:

• a national comparsas and chirigotas competition;

• the Foráneas Parade;

• the Grand Carnival Parade 2026;

• the Drag Queen Contest;

• festivals, costume competitions and themed shows.
