As part of its cultural and youth programme, the City Council organises this free activity designed to be enjoyed by the whole family, young and old alike.
The Youth Department of Torrevieja Town Council has organised a Summer Cinema event, a free activity that aims to bring families, young people and older people together around the seventh art, which will be held in two unique venues in the town.
On Friday, 12 September, two films ("Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and "The Worst Neighbour in the World") will be screened at Playa del Cura, one of the most iconic spots on the Torrevieja coastline. while on Saturday, 13 September, the Summer Cinema will move to Encarnación Puchol Square in La Mata, coinciding with the patron saint festivities. a9>to the Plaza de Encarnación Puchol in La Mata, coinciding with the district's patron saint festivities, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy an evening of cinema by the sea with a double feature screening of "Pixels" and "The Worst Neighbour in the World".
The screenings will be free and open to the public, with a special set-up adapted for outdoor spaces, featuring a giant screen and surround sound, thus ensuring the best experience for the audience. In addition, residents and visitors will be able to bring their own chairs, food and drinks to enjoy the evening in comfort.
The Youth Council encourages all Torrevieja residents and visitors to bring their family and friends to enjoy two nights of cinema under the stars, in a privileged setting, as a prelude to the end of summer and as part of the festive celebrations in La Mata.
