The fifth public toilet opens in Torrevieja

The Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolon, and the Councillor for Public Roads Occupation, Federico Alarcón, have visited the public toilet located in the Plaza Waldo Calero, after having been put into operation yesterday morning.
These five public toilets are located in the following places
Waldo Calero Square
Juan Aparicio Promenade (Arturo Gómez Square)
Del Cura Beach
Doña Perfecta Rodríguez Park (La Mata)
Encarnación Puchol Square (La Mata)
The mayor stressed the importance of putting into operation these public toilets in very busy places in Torrevieja, as they were in great demand by citizens and tourists. Eduardo Dolon has appealed to the citizens to make good use of these public facilities and to take care of them and respect them..
The toilets incorporate a PLC (electronic device that is programmed to perform control actions automatically) whose programming allows to manage the operation of the following systems:
-Access control: programmable change changer.
-LCD status indicator panel: Programmable LCD screen with status lighting (red = occupied, green = vacant, and blue = out of service). Presence detection system located inside.
-Digital LED clock: Installed inside, it indicates the remaining service time. It is set to 15 minutes and the public price is €0.50.
-Acoustic alarm: Indicates usage time exceeded.
-Use counter. Timer with time limit to program time intervals and limit booth use to established times.
-Accessible interior emergency button.
-Exterior emergency opening.
-Sensors: lack of mains water pressure, soap, disinfectant, and temperature.
-Fan.
-Self-cleaning: After each use, the toilet, sink, and cabin floor are automatically cleaned with pre-sweep detection to ensure no one is inside.
