The Real Club Náutico Torrevieja wins seven medals at the Spanish Beach Sprint Championships

The Real Club Náutico Torrevieja rowing team delivered a memorable performance at the Spanish Beach Sprint Championship, held on September 5, 6, and 7 in La Línea de la Concepción, where they won a total of seven medals: one gold, four silver, and two bronze.


The big win came with the boat crewed by Nadia Georgieva Goryonova and Ana Pamies Makarenko, who were crowned Spanish champions in the C2xCF event after completing a brilliant race. Along with this gold medal, the representatives from Torrevieja also came close to victory in several events, winning four silver medals thanks to the performances of Sara Carolina Durán Pérez and Kassandra Quinto Medranda in C2xCF, Alejandro Vera Montesinos and Marcos Santos Sánchez in C2xCM, Vera Montesinos himself accompanied by Ana Pamies Makarenko in C2xCMixto, and Marco Liarte Samper in C1xJM.


The harvest was completed with two bronze medals, won by Ander Martín Domingo in C1xABM and by the duo Alejandro Pihal Khvalko and Carlos Pérez Iniesta in C2xJM. In addition, RCNT rower Raúl Miguel Sánchez Hernández also took to the podium, winning another bronze medal in C2xABMixto alongside María Ángeles Macián Martínez, from the Real Club Náutico de Cartagena.


With this extraordinary result, the Real Club Náutico Torrevieja once again demonstrates its potential in the world of sea rowing, consolidating its position as one of the leading clubs in this discipline not only in the Valencian Community, but also at national level.  The results achieved are the fruit of the effort and dedication of the club's athletes, coaches and technical team, who continue to work to keep Torrevieja and the RCNT at the top of the competition and to continue promoting the practice of rowing among the younger generations.
