The special bus for All Saints' Day

The Torrevieja Town Council, through its Cemetery Department, has prepared a special operation for the celebration of All Saints' Day (Saturday, 1 November). , which includes a free bus service to transport citizens to the Municipal Cemetery, with different stops, which will begin on Thursday, 30 October, and end on Saturday, 1 November.

The Councillor responsible for Cemeteries, Sandra Sánchez, has announced that there will be six scheduled bus stops, located at:

1. Plaza María Asunción.

2. Colonia San Esteban (frente al Bar Manolo).

3. Televisión Torrevieja (C/ San Policarpo, 41).

4. Intercambiador Eras de la Sal.

5. Centro de Salud Acequión (C/ Urbano Arregui).

6. Cementerio Municipal de Torrevieja. 

The timetable for the special bus service on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October will be as follows: 

• Departure. From Plaza de María Asunción (10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.)

• Return. From the cemetery (11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.).

  
  

Sandra Sánchez also announced that on Saturday, 1 November, this special bus service will be extended for All Saints' Day, with departures for the Torrevieja cemetery at 10:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. 

The return journey from the cemetery on 1 November will be at 10:45 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. 

The Councillor for Cemeteries has reminded us that, as in previous years, a special Local Police unit has been set up to control access to the Torrevieja Cemetery and the cemetery in the district of La Mata, as well as to monitor the car parks at both cemeteries.

Finally, Sandra Sánchez reports that on 1 November, at 4.30 pm, the Holy Rosary will be recited for all those attending at the Torrevieja Municipal Cemetery, followed by Holy Mass for the Dead at 5 pm.

At the cemetery in La Mata, Mass will be held at 4:30 p.m..
