Torrevieja became the venue for the "Proyectando Vega Baja" forum, dedicated to the development of the region

Torrevieja, November 4, 2025. — This morning, a new session of the "Proyectando Vega Baja" forum was held at the Club Náutico de Torrevieja, where business and government representatives discussed the present and future of the municipality and its surrounding area.

The forum brought together leading regional companies—Hidraqua, Aguas de Alicante, Aigües d'Elx, Agamed, Grupo Hozono Global, VegaFibra, Empresas del Sol, and Pemar—as well as the Torrevieja City Hall, which was a key participant.

The meeting focused on the strategic development of Vega Baja: participants discussed the need for sustainable water management, infrastructure modernization, digitalization, and innovation in the environment and tourism sectors.

The organisers emphasised that the Vega Baja Project is becoming an increasingly important platform for exchanging experiences and developing joint solutions that can strengthen the region's position in the Valencian Community's economy.
