Torrevieja – Street Lighting Modernization (€381,800)

The Torrevieja Municipality has completed street lighting modernization work as part of a €381,800 investment project. This included refurbishing 377 existing lighting poles and installing 147 new LED luminaires. The upgrades affected the Aldea del Mar, Las Barcas, and La Campana neighborhoods.

According to the mayor's office, the project aims to improve pedestrian and vehicle safety, as well as reduce energy consumption and operating costs. The use of LED technology will reduce energy consumption and the carbon footprint of the city's infrastructure.

The work is part of the municipal public space and energy efficiency program, which is being implemented in stages across the city.
