Torrevieja will build one more heated pool

Torrevieja Town Hall has approved the start of the project for a new heated swimming pool at the Ciudad Deportiva. A budget of 87,499 euros (VAT included) has been allocated for the drafting of the technical project.

The new facility, measuring 25 × 12.5 metres, will be located behind the existing Olympic swimming pool in the car park area. It will be used for aquatic activities and training as a warm-up pool.

The project will have to ensure a direct connection between the new pool, the existing facilities (swimming pool, 7-a-side football pitches and car park), and rearrange the outdoor areas, especially the car park and landscaped areas.

A sustainable heating system, shared with the existing boiler room, will be required. Indoor seating areas for users will also be included, without spectator stands.
