Vehicle catches fire after collision on the N-332 in Benidorm

One woman injured; Provincial Fire Brigade intervened
A traffic accident on Wednesday, 19 February 2026, on the N-332 near the Benidorm exit ended with one of the vehicles engulfed in flames. According to emergency services, a woman was injured as a result of the crash.
Following the collision between two cars, one of them caught fire almost immediately. Firefighters from the Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium responded quickly and managed to extinguish the blaze and secure the area.
Police units and medical teams were also deployed to the scene to assist the injured person. No official details have yet been released regarding the severity of her injuries.
The incident caused temporary traffic congestion on this section of the N-332, a key coastal highway in the Marina Baixa area. Traffic was partially restricted while emergency crews worked to extinguish the fire and remove the damaged vehicles.
No fatalities have been reported. The causes of the accident are under investigation.
